3-Time NBA All-Star Predicted to be Traded to Kings

The New York Knicks had an impressive campaign last season, advancing to the conference semifinals for the second straight year.

Led by Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson, they finished the regular season with exactly 50 wins, their best record since their 54-28 stint in 2012-13.

Unfortunately, Randle underwent shoulder surgery late in the season, forcing him to miss the playoffs. With the All-Star forward out, Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo, Josh Hart and Isaiah Hartenstein stepped up for coach Tom Thibodeau. The midseason addition of OG Anunoby also helped.

With Randle's future with the Knicks now uncertain, there have been whispers that he could be on the trading block. The squad has yet to offer him an extension despite being eligible since August 2024.

For former NBA player Patrick Beverley, the 29-year-old Randle could be the odd man out after the Knicks re-signed Anunoby and acquired Mikal Bridges. Beverley said the Sacramento Kings could be a perfect spot for Randle.

"It's tough when you (Knicks) sign all of those guys at that position, his (Randle) size, his type of players," said Beverley in a recent episode of his podcast. "I mean, the writing's on the wall.

"That would be nice, him in Sac. That would be different."

The Kings already have a star trio with Domantas Sabonis, De'Aaron Fox and the newly acquired DeMar DeRozan. Randle joining them would make the Kings even a tougher offensive unit.

The Knicks, however, would also want a star in exchange for Randle. Safe to say, the Kings don't want to part ways with Sabonis, Fox, DeRozan or even Keegan Murray.

Randle recently shared a cryptic post after not seeing his jersey in the team store.
