The Baltimore Ravens and Las Vegas Raiders face off in an enticing AFC matchup on Sunday. Both teams need a win after beginning the season 0-1.

The first half ended with Baltimore leading Las Vegas 9-6. It's been a solid game so far and the second half should be just as entertaining.

Unfortunately, a scary incident occurred during the first half of the contest that forced the game to come to a halt. Players on both the Ravens and Raiders took a knee in prayer after a member of the chain gang suddenly collapsed on the field.

The NFL official was given CPR immediately by medical officials, according to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team. He was eventually carted off of the field.

As of now, it's not clear what caused the NFL official to collapse on the field. The league may provide an update once they obtain more information. NFL fans flooded social media offering prayers and hoping for the best for the individual.

"Pray for him," said one fan .

Another fan stated , "Get well soon mate."

"That’s not good prayers up," said one fan using the praying hands emoji.

"Really hope he’s okay we love the chain gang," claimed one fan .

This fan stated , "Hh thats awful. Hope he is OK."

The Ravens and Raiders eventually resumed play to wrap up the first half. More updates regarding the NFL official will hopefully be revealed sometime after the game.

With the third quarter underway, Baltimore was able to score first to extend their lead 16-6. Las Vegas will need to put together some solid drives if they hope to get back into this contest.
