Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered his fourth concussion in the last two years on Thursday night during a loss to the Buffalo Bills. However, according to NFL Insider Ian Rappoport, Tagovailoa is not planning on retiring and does not want this to end his career.

Rappoport elaborated that Tagovailoa is meeting with a neurologist specializing in head injuries and attempting to find a way to return to the field despite the scary concussion on Thursday.

Tagovailoa's three other concussions all took place in 2022 within proximity of one another. At the time, there was much discussion about his career being over. However, he returned and led the NFL in passing yards last year, being named to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career.

The former Alabama quarterback has impressive mental toughness and a clear drive to succeed at the highest level, but it's fair to wonder if he should prioritize his long-term health. A triumphant return to the field would be a remarkable twist in his continued story, but fans will hope he can make the best decision for himself and his family.
