Fans Begging Taylor Swift to Make Wardrobe Change for Chiefs Game

The Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals battle it out on the gridiron on Sunday, but Taylor Swift continues to dominate headlines.

The popstar's entrance to the Week 2 game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium turned heads. As did a viral social media video leading up to the game, which has been viewed over two million times in its first 24 hours.

On Saturday, September 14, two TikTok creators, Chummy's Customs and Pineapple Princess Creations, collaborated to make custom Travis Kelce jersey sneakers for Swift. The star-studded duo have been dating since at least October 2023 .

The Nike Air Force sneakers featured pieces of Kelce's No. 87 red home jersey that were bedazzled in rhinestones, as well as yellow accents and a Chiefs logo on the back heel.

"As an added incentive for Taylor, we even had the idea to make these sneakers with a custom football era friendship bracelet," Pineapple Princess Creations said in the video.

Given the media attention around Swift's attendance at Chiefs games since 2023, the intention behind the creation was to capture the 34-year-old's attention.

"You guys can't lie, when you think of combining sparkle with the Kansas City Chiefs, you think Taylor Swift," the creators said. "So Colin and I figured why not make these sneakers, hope that Taylor sees them and wanna rock them to one of the Chiefs' games."

The video, captioned "Please @taylorswift13," also makes a plea to viewers.

"Guys, we need your help. Tag Taylor and Travis in the comments. And Taylor if you want to rock these kicks to one of the games, they're all yours."

On the field, the Chiefs won the most recent meeting with the Bengals in the 2023 AFC Championship Game.

However, Joe Burrow is 3-1 in his first four head-to-head matchups against Patrick Mahomes and company, so Kansas City could still be on upset alert.

Kansas City entered the game as six-point favorites, according to Caesars Sportsbook.
