Stephen A. Smith Triggers Fans With Viral Cowboys Video

After a convincing Week 1 win in Cleveland, the Dallas Cowboys got absolutely walloped in their Week 2 home opener.

Dallas trailed 35-13 at halftime before eventually losing to the New Orleans Saints, 44-19. The Cowboys surrendered 432 yards, including 180 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns to running back Alvin Kamara.

As the game clock was running down, ESPN host Stephen A. Smith — known for trolling Cowboys fans — posted a video with the final score on his television in the background.

The video was viewed over one million times in its first 90 minutes online.

"Week 2 and it's already started," Smith said while laughing maniacally into the camera.

"How about them Cowboys? See you tomorrow on 'First Take' and the 'Stephen A. Smith Show.' Monday can't come soon enough."

Fans were immediately triggered by Smith's antics.

"Oh you better not start with us," one fan wrote on X.

"Oh no here we go again 😩" another added .

"Glad we could keep you employed for another week lol" said another.

After the game, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones shared his initial reaction to the blowout.

"Extraordinarily disappointing, extraordinarily disappointed for our fans," Jones told NFL reporter Ed Werder . "We will correct this. We will improve from how we played out there today.”

Dallas remains home for a Week 3 contest against Lamar Jackson and the 0-2 Baltimore Ravens, who were upset 26-23 by the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
