Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever hosted the Dallas Wings for their final home game of the regular season.

After securing a 110-109 victory over Dallas, Clark spoke with the media about an issue she's been dealing with throughout her rookie season.

The 22-year-old has picked up six technical fouls on the year, meaning she is one mistake away from receiving a one-game suspension from the WNBA.

If Clark picks up her seventh technical foul, by league rule, she would have a one-game suspension.

Indiana's young star spoke about a play during the Fever's matchup against the Wings where Aliyah Boston turned her away from the refs.

Clark was about to walk up to the officiating crew, but Boston served as the mediator and pushed away from the issue. The rookie may have been in jeopardy of receiving a tech, but teammates were there to calm down the situation.

The rookie said her teammates have done a good job of keeping her away from trouble, and she explained that she doesn't want to get any more technical fouls.

“My teammates do a really good job of that, they think it’s funny," Clark said. "Now it’s basically over, I don’t have to worry about that anymore... "I don’t want to get technicals at all, my mom doesn’t want that for me either.”

The first-year star finished the game with 35 points, eight assists, and two rebounds. She led all scorers in the matchup and also led both teams in total assists.

Heading into the game against the Wings, Clark was averaging 19.1 points, 8.4 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game. Despite her struggles with technical fouls, Clark has been quite efficient in her rookie season, serving as the most consistent contributor for Indiana.

During her illustrious rookie season, Clark has put the Fever in contention to win a WNBA title. They're currently ranked as the No. 6 team in the WNBA standings with a 20-19 record.

Indiana picked up their first 20-win season since 2015 after their victory over Dallas.

Clark has been the leader for the Fever all season, in both the scoring and playmaking realm, so it's vital that she stays away from WNBA officials.

as a new fan who supports CC don't like her consistent whining especially if she believes a foul should have been called then she stops playing while the game is going on, she has to remember she's a rookie and the refs are not going to let a rookie upstage them
