The Buffalo Bills secured a 31-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night, moving to 2-0 on the season. While the final score suggests a commanding performance, Pro Football Focus ( PFF ) grades reveal that several players on the Bills' offense struggled, especially in key areas such as run blocking and penalties.

Among the lowest-graded offensive players for the Bills in Week 2 was left guard David Edwards, who received a PFF grade of 44.7, the lowest on the team. Despite his respectable pass-blocking grade of 66.1, his run-blocking grade fell to 41.4. Edwards allowed two pressures in his 106 snaps, highlighting a need for more consistent play as the Bills look to maintain their early-season momentum.

Next on the list was right guard O’Cyrus Torrence, whose overall grade was 48.1. Torrence's 70.0 pass-blocking grade was respectable, but his run-blocking grade of 44.1 and three penalties, tying him for the most in the NFL, indicate areas of concern for the Bills' offensive line coach.

Left tackle Dion Dawkins , usually a reliable performer, also found himself among the lower grades with a 51.5 overall. While his pass-blocking grade was a solid 68.6, his run-blocking struggled at 40.2. Dawkins, who played 102 snaps, allowed one pressure and had two penalties, tying for third in the league.

Tight end Dawson Knox's contributions were limited, resulting in a 51.6 overall grade. Despite a high pass-blocking grade of 70.2, his receiving and run-blocking efforts were less effective, with only one reception for 23 yards on two targets. Knox will need to improve his consistency in the passing game as the Bills continue their AFC East campaign.

Finally, wide receiver Mack Hollins rounded out the list with a 53.3 overall grade. Hollins had two receptions for 25 yards and a touchdown, with a passer rating of 158.3 when targeted. However, his run-blocking grade of 59.0 suggests he could provide more support in the ground game.

Looking ahead to Week 3, the Bills will face the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are coming off a tough loss and looking to bounce back at home. The matchup will test Buffalo's ability to sustain their momentum , especially as they aim for a more consistent offensive performance. With both teams eager for a win, this game could provide a critical early-season test for the Bills.
