Tom Brady's 'Cold Blooded' Dallas Cowboys Comment Goes Viral

Tom Brady opened his Fox NFL broadcasting career with consecutive Dallas Cowboys games, the second of which resulted in Dallas being blown out 44-19 by the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Overall, public feedback on Brady's performance in the booth was noticeably more positive in Week 2 . Late in the second quarter, the 47-year-old had what sports media analyst Jimmy Traina called the "best moment of (his) young broadcasting career."

Following an interception by Dak Prescott in which Cowboys second-year wide receiver Jalen Brooks slipped and fell during his route , Brady was asked for the quarterback's perspective. He delivered a "cold blooded" response , making it clear he would not have thrown to Brooks again on Sunday if he was still under center.

The viral video reshared by a Patriots fan account was viewed over one million times in its first 12 hours online.

"Not today," Brady said to play-by-play counterpart Kevin Burkhardt. "It's actually pretty tough to go back there because you know where he's at and you're saying, 'God, I'm going to him and I just can't count on him that he's gonna stay on his feet.'

"(Prescott) obviously trusts him to do the right thing, but can he make the play? Ultimately, can we go out there and execute?"

Fox has not yet confirmed Brady's assignment for Week 3. However, it's feasible that Brady, who is in the first season of a 10-year, $375 million contract as Fox's lead color commentator, could draw the Cowboys yet again.

Dallas plays host to the Baltimore Ravens (0-2) on Sunday, September 22 in "America's Game of the Week" matchup on Fox.

I thought he did a good job last week, this week even better. I wasn't a huge fan when he played... but he's no dummy, that's for sure
