For the first time this season, Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe earned SEC Player of the Week honors after his five-touchdown game in Alabama's 42-10 win over Wisconsin.

In Alabama's first season matchup with a power-four program, Milroe was the center of the offense, and he delivered.

Milroe was a focal point of the rushing attack as he carried the ball 14 times for 75 yards and two rushing touchdowns.

The explosive aspect of the offense remained as Milroe connected on touchdown passes of 31, 26, and 37.

Milroe's favorite target, freshman phenom Ryan Williams, hauled in his fourth touchdown grab of the season as he helped his quarterback reach 14 touchdowns on the season.

The Alabama quarterback is not new to winning the award, as he hoisted the honor three times last season.

Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer has watched four players gain SEC accolades, with Williams earning SEC Freshman of the Week and safety Keon Sabb being awarded the SEC Defensive Player of the Week after week one.

Alabama is 3-0 going into the team's bye week after an astounding road triumph over the Badgers.

The Crimson Tide outgained Wisconsin 407-290 and took a 21-3 lead into the half. Coming out of the half, running back Jam Miller punctuated the victory with a 34-touchdown run to put the nail in the coffin.

Alabama now has 12 days to prepare for the arrival of No. 2 Georgia on September 28.

Wisconsin is in the Big Ten. That's considered one of the power 4 conferences.
