Billy Napier's Blunt 2-Word Admission on Future With Florida

Week 3 of the 2024 college football season didn't go too well for Billy Napier and the Florida Gators, as they suffered a 41-17 defeat at the hands of the Miami Hurricanes.

With that loss, their record fell to 1-2 on the season, and fans have been calling for Napier to be fired as a result of their slow start to the year.

Napier is still with the team heading into Week 4, and it doesn't seem like Florida has any immediate plans to fire him. And from Napier's point of view, he doesn't appear to be worried about potentially getting fired, as he offered a blunt two-word response when asked if he's had discussions with Florida about his future with the team.

There's quite a bit of external chatter surrounding Napier and the Gators currently, but he is intent on keeping his team focused on their Week 4 matchup with Mississippi State

Considering how the Bulldogs have had similar struggles to open the season, though, if Napier can't lead Florida to a win, his job could be in serious jeopardy moving forward, even if he isn't all that worried about his future right now.
