The Florida State Seminoles have not lived up to the hype after a 13-win season in 2023. They suffered another loss in Week 3 at the hands of Memphis. The Seminoles have only had a 0-3 start thrice in program history.

Another team that has not lived up to expectations is the Michigan Wolverines. Michigan is 2-1 heading into Week 4, but things are not as good as they seem.

The Wolverines have had inconsistent quarterback play with Davis Warren and Alex Orji. Warren has 444 passing yards, two touchdowns and six interceptions. When Orji played, it mainly focused on designed quarterback runs.

Greg McElroy stressed how important it was for Michigan to fix its quarterback problems with its first Big Ten game in Week 4 against the USC Trojans. On a recent " Always College Football " episode, he predicted that it could be a "really ugly year" if Michigan can not solve the quarterback problem.

"...They got to figure out the quarterback spot because SC is gonna score," McElroy said. "Can you move the ball against SC? If you can't, then we got major issues in Michigan. They're already 2-1. I think they're losing next week to the Trojans, and then you look at what's coming up. This could be a really ugly year for Ann Arbor."

Michigan and USC will meet in 2024 for the 11th time in series history. The last game was in 2007, but now that USC is in the Big Ten, the two will play more regularly.

The Wolverines lost players like quarterback JJ McCarthy, running back Blake Corum, linebacker Junior Colson and defensive lineman Kris Jenkins to the NFL draft.

Kickoff from Ann Arbor is at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sept. 21 via CBS.
