National Anthem Performance Before Falcons-Eagles Goes Viral

The Atlanta Falcons traveled to Lincoln Financial Field for a primetime matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night.

A Monday Night Football game under the lights in Philadelphia is an electric sports atmosphere, and the excitement continued to build as kickoff quickly approached.

The stadium lights dimmed and the American flag unfurled across the field. A live bald eagle was released from the top level of the stadium, soaring down to the field as the performance of the Star-Spangled Banner rang through the speakers.

A video of the scene is going viral on social media.

"FLY EAGLE FLY," the team shared on X.

"Wings up! Let’s soar!" one fan wrote.

"Going to be great night," another said.

"So dope," another added.

The Eagles kicked off their 2024 regular season with a Week 1 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Sao Paolo, Brazil. The Falcons are 0-1 after falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers in their season opener.
