Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark isn't the only one winning these days.

Her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, was announced as the new assistant coach of Butler's men's basketball team on Sept. 16.

It's a huge opportunity for McCaffery, who previously worked as a basketball development coordinator for the Indiana Pacers, to further his career alongside the dazzling ascent of Clark.

Of course, the Fever star was thrilled for her boyfriend's latest accomplishment, posting it on her Instagram Story.

NBA players also congratulated McCaffery, including Pacers guard TJ McConnell. He posted Butler's announcement on his Instagram Story, adding a salute emoji.

McCaffery will replace former NBA center Greg Oden, who recently resigned. Oden only spent two years with the Bulldogs.

The 26-year-old McCaffery will join a storied program that has produced NBA players like Gordon Hayward, Shelvin Mack, and Kelan Martin, among others. Butler has 16 appearances in the NCAA Tournament.

He will learn under veteran mentor Thad Matta, a three-time Big Ten Coach of the Year.

"He (McCaffery) obviously comes from a basketball family that I know very well and I'm excited for the impact he is going to have on our program both quickly and in the long run," said Matta in a statement from Butler .
