The New York Knicks are one of the most historic franchises in the NBA, which means they have some of the best players in the history of the game.

In a recent article by HoopsHype , they rank who they believe are the 20 best centers in basketball history. Just barely cracking the top 15, they have Knicks legend Willis Reed at No. 14.

"Best known for limping out onto the court for Game 7 of the 1970 Finals for New York and hitting his first two shots on a bad thigh, Willis Reed is now widely considered one of the greatest Knicks of all time, a big man slightly short on stature but not on talent and sheer will," HoopsHype writes. "Reed was a monster rebounder and shot-blocker despite standing just 6-foot-9."

The Knicks have won two championships in their history, and Reed was at the center of both of them, leading them to rings in 1970 and 1973.

He averaged just under 19 points, 13 rebounds, and a block per game in his 10 seasons with the Knicks. He is considered by many to be one of the greatest players in the history of the franchise, but he is not talked about enough with the greatest centers of all time.
