Maxx Crosby Gave Gardner Minshew Mid-Game Pep Talk

The Las Vegas Raiders pulled off a massive upset against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Despite being the biggest underdog in the entire NFL in Week 2, the Raiders managed to pull off a huge victory with a 26-23 victory.

A win like that is only capable with a team effort, and a total team effort begins with leadership. Maxx Crosby is one of the leaders on this Raiders' team, and he gave his quarterback, Gardner Minshew, a pep talk midway through the game:

This had come just after Minshew threw a pretty rough interception, and he began to jog back to the sideline. Crosby pulled him aside, and seemed to give him some words of encouragement, which really resonated with Minshew.

Moments like these are so important for a team's morale, and this is an example of the excellent culture the Raiders have built. This Raiders' team might not have the most talent in the world, but they sure do play for each other, and you can't ask for much more than that.

The pep talk seemed to work. Before this, the Raiders were down 6-3, and while the defense was doing a solid job, Las Vegas' offense was really struggling to move the ball. The interception Minshew threw was an ugly one, as it wasn't close to any receiver.

However, after this conversation, the Raiders' offense found new life. Las Vegas marched down the field throughout the second half, and Minshew helped lead his team to a comeback victory.

It's great to see the team have each other's backs like this. The Raiders will have to continue to play as a team if they want to make a push for the playoffs.
