    Indiana Fever Star Sends Strong Message About Caitlin Clark

    The Indiana Fever are headed to the WNBA playoffs for the first time since 2016. Indiana has ridden the success of rookie Caitlin Clark all season and her teammates seem to be appreciative.

    Fever star Lexie Hull recently spoke with the media after Tuesday's practice, sharing her thoughts on the upcoming playoff opportunity for Indiana.

    Hull mentioned that shet and her teammates knew there was going be  higher expectations for the 2024 season, given the Fever's acquisition of Clark.

    Hull said that she's excited to see where the Fever stand in terms of competing in the WNBA playoffs, but made sure to mention that Indiana has already exceeded expectations.

    "It's really exciting," Hull said. "I know coming into this season we had higher expectations with the rookie we brought in. We didn't know what that was going to come with. It's exceeded out expectations, I think... I feel like we have a to of momentum and just really excited to see where we are today."

    Hull has been with the Fever since 2022. While she started the 2024 season on the bench, Hull has been one of Indiana's most explosive scorers. Following the Fever's return from the WNBA's break in the season for the Olympics, Hull has been a spark for Indiana.

    The three-year WNBA veteran is now starting for the Fever and she currently averages 5.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game on the year.

    She's been an extremely efficient scorer, shooting 44.8% from the field and 47.8% from three-point range.

    Clark has been sensational in her rookie season, helping Indiana secure a 20-19 record; the Fever's first 20-win season since 2015.

    Throughout her rookie year, Clark has averaged 19.5 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game.
