    WNBA Announces Big News About Indiana Fever Star's Technical Foul

    The Indiana Fever recently hosted the Dallas Wings in a back-and-forth battle that concluded in a 110-109 victory for the Fever.

    During the game, Fever star Aliyah Boston was involved in a heated exchange with Wings player Teaira McCowan. It was late in the game when the Wings were on the offensive end, looking to make a comeback down 106-110.

    The Dallas veteran stood over Boston , and they exchanged some words, leading to the referee assessing a double technical foul for their actions.

    Following the conclusion of the match, Indiana Fever reporter Scott Agness revealed that Boston's technical foul has been rescinded.

    She initially had to pay the WNBA a $400 fine, but after further review, Boston is set free from the penalty.

    The second-year star has been phenomenal for the Fever all season. While she struggled at the beginning of the year, the 6-foot-5 forward has quickly become one of the best two-way players in the WNBA.

    Boston, who won the 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year before the arrival of Caitlin Clark in 2024, has averaged 14.1 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

    She's been an underrated playmaker for the Fever all year and has seen her efficiency rise since Clark joined the team. Boston is currently shooting 52.6% from the field.

    The talented forward has thrived off of Clark's facilitating. The rookie out of Iowa has averaged 8.4 assists per game this season, which accounts for the highest average in the WNBA.

    She's also been extremely successful as a scorer early in her career, averaging 19.5 points while shooting 41.7% from the field, 34.1% from three-point range, and 90.4% from the free throw line.
