While the gymnastics competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics ended over a month ago, new controversies continue to emerge from the women's individual floor competition.

Team USA's Jordan Chiles continues to fight the bronze she won during the floor final before it was stripped away following a highly-controversial decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) and International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).

Chiles' attorneys filed an appeal with the Swiss Federal Tribune this week, which included video evidence that shows Team USA coach Cecile Landi successfully inquired about her difficulty level well within the one-minute window. CAS claimed the inquiry came four seconds too late.

After the video evidence was shared on social media, viewers noticed that Landi also attempted to inquire about Simone Biles' score, as she didn't receive full credit for her split leap, per USA Today . If the inquiry was accepted, Biles would've received an another .10, and won the gold medal over Brazil's Rebeca Andrade, but it was never registered.

Biles ultimately earned a 14.133 in the floor final, .033 points behind Andrade's final score. While fans were livid over Biles being cheated out of what would've been her ninth gold medal, the 27-year-old has already made peace with situation.

Biles posted on September 17, "honestly not a big deal for me, Rebeca had a better floor anyways šŸ«¶šŸ½ upsetting how it wasnā€™t processed but Iā€™m not mad at the results. BUT JUSTICE FOR JORDAN šŸ—£ļøšŸ—£ļøšŸ—£ļøšŸ—£ļø Ā ya hear me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Biles, who's already the most-decorated gymnast in U.S. history, wants to keep the focus on Chiles, and fans loved her gracious response. One person replied , "This is why you are my favourite athlete. You arenā€™t ego driven and I see many trying to impose that on you. You are amazing."

Another fan wrote , "Thank you for always being so great with Rebeca, we really appreciate your friendship and we want to see you together again soon. We love you." One woman commented , "An absolute queen šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»."

Jordyn did earn that medal, the judges scored her incorrectly the first time so she challenged for them to score her properly and after she was scored properly on her difficulty level then she received 3rd and thatā€™s why it created a controversial decision, the judges were about to screw her out of her metal and she wasnā€™t gonna let them but the other teams got mad because now their shot at a metal was gone, those other girls were good but weā€™re not even on the same difficulty level as Jordan or Simone, only 1 other gymnast was even competing on the same difficulty levels as Jordan and Simone and that was the girl from Brazil, do you see her crying over this bullshit cuz she didnā€™t win no, no you donā€™t, she was even better than those European girls and sheā€™s not crying cuz she knows she messed up not to win and those other girls needed to do the same, Jordan should not have been stripped, those girls and their couches need to understand gymnastics better and different difficult levels
