Caitlin Clark Watch Parties Exploding Across Obscure European Country

Caitlin Clark's popularity truly transcends borders, which is evident by the following she has picked up in the European country of Iceland -- of all places.

An Icelandic pub has been airing live watch parties of Indiana Fever games for much of the rookie's first WNBA season, according to the Clark Report X account. That season will end on Wednesday night when the team travels to play the Washington Mystics before moving on to the playoffs.

"Women in Iceland have started hosting Caitlin Clark watch parties at a local pub, even though most games start at 11 p.m. [or] midnight Iceland time," the Monday report said .

One X user responded to the post saying that her mother has asked her to relocate from Europe to America so that she can visit and watch Clark play in person.

"My mum, who's from a small town in the Philippines, is obsessed with Caitlin [Clark] and is asking me to move to America instead of staying in Europe so she can go visit and watch her live 😭," the poster wrote . "My mum will be 60 in two years. Caitlin [Clark] is the most famous WNBA player in the world."

Clark has unquestionably boosted the popularity of the league and the sport both at home and abroad. She has also changed the fortunes of the Fever.

Clark is averaging of 19.5 points, 8.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game during her rookie year. Indiana is 20-19 and guaranteed to finish at least .500 for the first time since the 2016 campaign , which was also the last time the team appeared in the postseason.
