NFL RB Predicted to Have Massive Game on Sunday

Las Vegas Raiders starting running back Zamir White only has 68 rushing yards this season. He's averaged a measly 3.1 yards per carry.

But ESPN's Dan Graziano sees White experiencing a breakout game in Week 3.

In his and Jeremy Fowler's September 18 column that covered the latest buzz around the NFL, Graziano advised fantasy football players not to part with White until after he faces the Carolina Panthers defense this weekend.

"Hold onto Raiders running back Zamir White for one more week, then trade him after he lays waste to the Carolina defense," Graziano wrote . "The Panthers have given up 381 rushing yards and three touchdowns to running backs in two games this season.

"Raiders coach Antonio Pierce is determined for his team to establish some kind of reliable run game, and the team still views White as the most likely player to emerge as their No. 1 back. It hasn't been pretty for the Raiders' run game so far this season, but if there ever was a get-right spot, this is it."

Just the Indianapolis Colts have allowed more rushing yards than the Panthers through two weeks this season. The Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the only teams who have yielded more rushing touchdowns.

Furthermore, Carolina has allowed 73 points in the first two games of 2024, which is the most in the NFL. So, White seemingly has a great chance of finding the end zone in Week 3.

Last season, White posted 451 rushing yards with one touchdown in 17 games. He leads the Raiders with 22 rushing attempts this season.

No other Raiders running back has more than nine carries.

The Raiders will host the Panthers at 4:05 p.m. ET on September 22.
