Michael Jordan has been something of a globe trotter during his post-playing days in the NBA.

The 61-year-old basketball legend and NASCAR owner made his latest public appearance at a sporting event on Thursday, popping up at a Champions League match between Barcelona and AS Monaco at Stade Louis II Stadium.

Monaco pulled out a 2-1 home upset against the 10-manned Barcelona squad, but Jordan's appearance was a major talking point off the pitch.

Jordan's former teammate Antoine Walker recently revealed that the Basketball Hall of Famer had a rule about drinking during their workouts outside of team facilities.

“One thing I did love about MJ, we always took the weekend off," Walker revealed on the "Forgotten Seasons" podcast .

"That Monday to Thursday was all about fellowshipping with the guys, working out, getting our bodies together. Even to the point where we drink. He had a rule, ‘We gonna drink no juice.' All straight, vodka. 'We ain’t gonna mess these workouts up,'" Walker said, referring to the high sugar content found in most juices.

Jordan last played an NBA game in 2003 with the Washington Wizards. He averaged 20.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game in his final season at age 39.
