ESPN college football analyst Rece Davis shared his weekly predictions for the upcoming slate on the "College GameDay" podcast.

Some of the week's biggest games include No. 11 USC at No. 18 Michigan, No. 24 Illinois at No. 22 Nebraska, and No. 6 Tennessee at No. 15 Oklahoma.

While Davis and the "College GameDay" crew were discussing what's set to be one of the most competitive games of Week 4 in UT at OU, Davis dropped his pick.

The longtime ESPN host believes the Volunteers' offense is too much for the Sooners to handle. While he credited OU's defense under head coach Brent Venables, he believes Oklahoma will struggle to stop the Volunteers on both ends.

Davis explained that Tennessee's offense has been phenomenal all year and that it has an extremely underrated defensive unit that will cause problems for the Sooners' offensive line.

"I think Tennessee's better than Oklahoma," Davis said. "The problems up front will be huge... I think Tennessee wins. Not as decidedly as Texas beat Michigan, but soundly."

The Sooners are currently 7.5-point underdogs.

The Volunteers are riding the hot hand. They have one of the best young quarterbacks in the country, 6-foot-6 Nico Iamaleava, who many call a future Heisman.

So far this season, in his first year as the established starter, Iamaleava has produced six touchdowns and 698 passing yards with a 71.6 completion percentage. He struggles from time to time, but he has shown flashes of elite play.

Tennessee also has a workhorse running back on the offensive that could take weight off Iamaleava. Dylan Sampson, a 5-foot-11 back, has recorded nine rushing touchdowns this season while adding 357 yards.

On the defensive end, Tennessee has a couple of veteran pieces that can wreck the opposing offense, like defensive end James Pearce Jr., defensive back Will Brooks, and defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott.

While Oklahoma is a talented team with a quality defense under Venables, Davis and the betting lines favor Tennessee in the ranked matchup.
