The Florida State Seminoles underperformed significantly this season. The 0-3 start is the third in program history and the second under head coach Mike Norvell. Florida State had a 0-3 start in 2021 and finished that season 5-7.

On a recent episode of " The Joel Klatt Show ," Joel Klatt discussed some of the exciting games from Week 4. Florida State finally earned its first win over the season over the California Golden Bears. The Seminoles won in Tallahassee, 14-9.

Klatt also discussed the Clemson Tigers. In Week 4, Clemson beat the NC State Wolfpack 59-35. Quarterback Cade Klubnik put on a clinic, finishing the game with 209 passing yards, four total touchdowns and 70 rushing yards.

However, Klatt had no kind words for the ACC. Without remorse, he called the ACC a "soft league."

"...Cade, I think, is still a really good player, and maybe that's a team that can still develop and go on and have a really good year in what is unquestionably a soft league, and I hope that's the case," Klatt said.

Clemson was the last ACC team to win a national championship in 2018, which follows its 2016 title. Clemson made the national championship in 2019 but lost to the LSU Tigers. Clemson and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish made the playoff in 2020, with Brian Kelly's team as an honorary ACC member for that season.

Since then, the Alabama Crimson Tide (2020), Georgia Bulldogs (2021-22), and Michigan Wolverines have won national titles.
