LeBron James' Special Gift for Deion Sanders Gets Travis Hunter Twist

Following the Colorado Buffaloes' recent 38-31 victory over the Baylor Bears, Travis Hunter was spotted in the stadium tunnel, taking a gift Deion Sanders received from NBA star LeBron James.

Hunter was unboxing a pair of shoes, which James' party sent to Sanders. The Colorado star opened the box of signature LeBron's and waited on Sanders to ask if he could have the sneakers.

"Ohhh Lebron, LeBron's," Hunter said. "Size 12, apprecaite you. GOAT, appreciate you. I know you sent these to Coach Prime but you ain't never heard of me though... Hehe, I like to take shoes."

Sanders walked up to Hunter while he was holding the box, and the Buffaloes athlete attempted to get Coach Prime to give him the shoes.

Hunter ultimately kept the LeBron's, which were personally sent by the Los Angeles Lakers star and his party.

Hunter finished the matchup against the Bears with seven receptions and 130 receiving yards. He also made the play of the game, forcing a fumble at the goal line in overtime, which sealed the victory for CU.

The wide receiver-cornerback star has already recorded five touchdowns on 37 receptions and 472 receiving yards this season.

Hunter has helped the Buffaloes secure a 3-1 record on the year, winning back-to-back games in Weeks 3 and 4. Colorado has defeated Colorado State, North Dakota State and Baylor. Their only loss comes in the hands of the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Week 2.

The Buffaloes will be on the road in Week 5 for a Big 12 matchup against the UCF Knights.

If they were to obtain their fourth win of the year, it would match Colorado's win total from the 2023 season.
