Red Raiders vs. Cincinnati Kickoff Time Announced

The Texas Tech Red Raiders moved to 3-1 on the season with a big 30-22 win over new conference rival Arizona State on Saturday. That kicked off Big 12 play for both teams.

The game has already been announced as a sellout.

The Red Raiders continue conference play on Saturday against the Cincinnati Bearcats at home, and the kickoff time was finally announced.

Texas Tech will host the Bearcats at Jones AT&T Stadium with a scheduled kickoff time of 7 p.m. CT and will be televised nationally on ESPN 2.

The Bearcats will enter the game with the same record as the Red Raiders at 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference. Cincinnati beat the Towson Tigers 38-20 to begin the year, then posted wins over Miami of Ohio and the Houston Cougars with a loss against Pitt on Sept. 14.

Their win over Houston was an impressive one last week as the Bearcats defense held the Cougars scoreless with a 34-0 win. That's something the Red Raiders offense will have to contend with.

Kickoff times have been all over the place for Texas Tech this season, especially with the West Coast teams they've played in Washington State, which was a 9 p.m. local kickoff time in Lubbock.

We expect the Week 6 matchup at Arizona to be a late one too.
