What Happened Inside Cowboys Team Meeting? Coach Snaps

    By Adam Schultz,

The Dallas Cowboys are continuing to comb through the disaster that was the 28-25 loss to the Baltimore Ravens , with things already getting rather tense after back-to-back poor performances.

While losing is acceptable to a certain extent, the way in which Dallas was beaten into submission by the New Orleans Saints and then Baltimore, certainly leaves a sour taste in the mouth, and several players were seen getting into heated exchanges on the sidelines.

    Are cracks beginning to appear?

“When the result doesn't go the way you want it to go, emotions are part of our game, so expression of emotion on Sundays always creates potential narratives and so forth but we're on to the Giants," head coach Mike McCarthy said.

And when asked what needed to be said to his group, McCarthy was rather prickly in his answer.

“I'm not going to get into specifics, this isn't show and tell, it's about being accountable," he snapped.

So it appears there is a bit of tension in the building with two poor losses that will make some completely rethink what they thought this 2024 version of the Cowboys are. ( Indeed, our Mike Fisher is writing and talking about Dallas "Coming Apart at the Seams'' in four specific ways .)

Now, let's not get too far ahead of ourselves, it is Week 3, but there are warning signs that not all is well inside The Star.

There is time to correct the issues, but time is running out, and if the irritated-by-reporters Cowboys think that this week is tough to deal with, then one can only imagine the media storm that will surround the organization if they fall to the New York Giants.

It might only be Week 4, but this already feels like a "gotta have it" game for Dallas. ... a game that is about "Show and Tell'' once they hit the field.
