Kalen DeBoer Issues Eye-Opening Challenge to Crimson Tide Ahead of Georgia Game

Both Alabama and Georgia have officially concluded their BYE weeks, and now both teams are hard at work preparing for their juggernaut matchup which takes place on Saturday.

This matchup features two teams ranked within the Top 5, as well as both teams with favorable odds to not only make the 12-team playoff, but win the national championship.

Reports have been swirling social media over the last week regarding big celebrities planning to attend the game, which will be in Tuscaloosa. One of the biggest names mentioned is former President Donald Trump.

Per Charlie Potter , Kalen DeBoer spoke with media on Monday regarding the distractions that the team will face with not only the big matchup, but the celebrities who plan to attend this game and the fact that College GameDay will be there as well.

"The main thing is that they get prepared to play the best football game they've played this year. I challenged them to play the best football game of their career," DeBoer said.

DeBoer also made comments about Alabama considered as the underdog for this huge matchup. This is the first time that Alabama is a home underdog since 2007, to which the Tide defeated Tennessee 41-17.

"Even if there's one doubter, it falls in line with the LANK mentality," DeBoer said.

As Nick Saban did so brilliantly in his career at Alabama, Kalen DeBoer is within the same mindset of proving the doubters wrong. By not letting the distractions get to them, and properly preparing for this game, Alabama has a chance to prove who they really say they are.
