Despite leading the Green Bay Packers to back-to-back wins, there is no quarterback controversy surrounding Malik Willis.

ESPN's Dan Graziano reported on NFL teams that will likely make quarterback changes soon. He thinks Willis is the first candidate to get benched.

"I mean, technically it's the Packers' Malik Willis, since Jordan Love sounds like he's close to coming back," Graziano wrote.

The Packers have been pleasantly surprised with how Malik Willis has played after Jordan Love suffered an MCL sprain in Week 1.

The Packers traded for Willis on Aug. 26 after a preseason that was filled with miscues from their backup quarterbacks.

The Liberty standout made his first start for the Packers on Sept. 15. He has led the Packers to wins over the Indianapolis Colts and his former team, the Tennessee Titans.

Willis is 25-for-34 passing for 324 yards and two touchdowns this season. The College Park, Georgia native also has 12 carries for 114 yards and one touchdown.

The Packers did not place Love on injured reserve, and the team expects him to return soon. Head coach Matt LaFleur said earlier this week that Love will be limited in practice on Wednesday.

The Packers play at home in Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. It's possible Willis could be benched for Love against Green Bay's bitter NFC North rival.

I hope Love doesn’t come back to soon and get a more serious injury. Willis is doing a very good job.
