NFL Makes Major Jayden Daniels Announcement Following MNF Victory

Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels had an impressive performance on Monday night, leading his team to a 38-33 upset victory against the Cincinnati Bengals .

In what was his best start as a professional, Daniels showed out in the spotlight of “ Monday Night Football ,” completing 21 of 23 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns. He also contributed significantly on the ground, rushing 12 times for 39 yards and another touchdown.

The NFL recognized Daniels' impressive performance by naming him the NFC Offensive Player of the Week, marking the first time he has received this honor in his young career. He is also the first rookie to earn this accolade this season.

His efficiency was remarkable; aside from the final drive where the team kneeled, Daniels orchestrated a scoring drive on every possession. This marks the second consecutive week that the Commanders have not punted the football.
