Ravens Star Lamar Jackson Responds To Tom Brady's New Nickname for Him

Tom Brady has been in the booth for three weeks, and he's already coming up with new nicknames for his favorite players. During the game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Dallas Cowboys, Brady coined a new nickname for quarterback Lamar Jackson.

After Jackson scrambled to get a first down, Brady said that he likes to call the Ravens star The Eraser. Here's his reason why.

"He's like superhuman," Brady said, via Ravens.com . "I call him 'The Eraser.' He just erases things that come up when you see bad football. That [broken play] would be a negative play for almost every other quarterback, and he turns it into another rushing first down. It's awesome."

A few days after the game, Jackson expressed his appreciation for Brady's remarks.

Jackson had himself a game against the Cowboys. The Ravens star threw for 182 yards with no interceptions and a passing touchdown. As usual, the reigning MVP also did damage in the ground game, rushing for 87 yards and a touchdown.

Despite their near-perfect performance, the Ravens nearly squandered their game. The Cowboys made a spirited comeback in the fourth quarter, cutting the 28-6 lead to just three points in the final minutes.

However, timely first down throws from Jackson ensured that the Cowboys would not get a chance at the lead. With the win, the Ravens improve to 1-2 in the season.
