Stanford is coming off a massive road upset win over Syracuse last Friday, earning significant honors from the conference this week. David Bailey was named the ACC Linebacker of the Week, and kicker Emmet Kenney earned ACC Specialist of the Week.

David Bailey had a massive performance against Syracuse, finishing with a career-best 96.4 PFF grade. He logged four tackles (two TFLs) and two sacks, while PFF tracked him with five pressures in the game.

Bailey has legitimate NFL-caliber talent, and scouts across the country certainly noted his big-time performance in primetime last week.

Meanwhile, Emmet Kenney made 4-4 field goals and 2-2 extra points. He won the game for the Cardinal as time expired, kicking a 39-yarder to give Stanford the 26-24 victory. He also hit a career-long 51-yard field goal in the second quarter.

After former Lou Groza finalist Joshua Karty left for the NFL, Kenney took over as Stanford's kicker, and he's off to the races this season, going a perfect 8-8 on field goals and 10-10 on PATs.

Stanford will again rely on Bailey and Kenney this week as the Cardinal faces a daunting road trip to Death Valley to take on the Clemson Tigers.
