Caitlin Clark Addresses Mindset After Fan Interaction That Led to Ejection

Early in Game 2, things have already gotten pretty heated between the Indiana Fever and the Connecticut Sun.

Just a couple of minutes into the game, Fever rookie Caitlin Clark and Sun star DeWanna Bonner got into a verbal altercation before Clark shoved her out of the way.

Later in the first quarter, Clark had security pull a fan from the front few rows to have a discussion with him. At first glance, it appeared that the fan was ejected, but he arrived back to his seat shortly after. It is unclear why the fan was pulled to the side.

After the first period, Clark spoke to ESPN's Holly Rowe about the fan, mentioning that she and her teammates need to stay focused on the game.

“I’m calling you ‘Spicy Caitlin’ tonight," Rowe said. "I see you get into it with a fan, with the ref. How do you maintain your composure but still keep your edge?”

"Stay focused about what’s on the floor," the Indiana rookie answered. "My four other teammates are right here with me. I think that’s the most important.”

Clark and the Fever could use as little distractions as possible during Game 2, as they are facing a win-or-go-home situation. If they do win, a sudden death Game 3 will be played on Friday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Caitlin Clark should dump the WNBA and all the haters. Italian pro women's basketball teams have offered her extreme money to go play there. She should take it and flip the bird when she goes. WNBA haters be dammed.
