LeBron James is Trending After Caitlin Clark's Exchange With WNBA Fan in Fever-Sun

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are facing elimination in Wednesday's WNBA playoff game against the Connecticut Sun. Dropping the series opener, Indiana must win game two in order to force a deciding third game at home.

Bouncing back from her poor shooting game in the series opener, Clark tallied 14 points, four assists and four rebounds in the first half of game two. Clark was the game's leading scorer at halftime, as no other player had reached double figures.

Clark had an exchange with a fan during the first half of this game that led to security momentarily removing him from his seat for a conversation.

Fans quickly compared Clark to Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James who has had fans removed from NBA games in his career.

"Caitlin Clark doing her best Lebron impersonation," Clark Report on X wrote.

Fans have already put Clark's interaction alongside one James had with an Indiana Pacers fan in 2021.

"Caitlin Clark entering her LeBron era," Hater Report wrote on X.

Even the official FanDuel Sportsbook account on X made the comparison between Clark and James.

"Caitlin Clark recreated the LeBron meme," the account stated.

James has been outspoken about his support for Clark throughout her WNBA rookie season. The NBA's all-time leading scorer has shared multiple messages for Clark on his social media accounts.

While it is the offseason for James, the Lakers star is still trending after Clark's fan interaction during this Fever-Sun WNBA playoff game.
