Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has hinted at DiJonai Carrington news amid Carrington's WNBA First-Round playoff series against Caitlin Clark.

Reese and the Sky fell just shy of making the playoffs, wrapping up the 2024 season with a 13-27 record, two games behind the Washington Mystics.

On the other hand, Carrington’s Connecticut Sun are looking to advance to the semifinals, with Game 2 against Clark’s Fever already underway.

Before Wednesday's game, Reese got the fans buzzing after a back-and-forth encounter with Carrington on X. It all began when Carrington posted a set of photos of herself, including a "Most Improved Player" graphic.

“so proud of you 💋,” Reese commented, to which Carrington replied, “thank youuu babes 💗💗.”

That’s when a fan chimed in, commenting, “now if I said I wanted to see you on her podcast.”

Reese recently started a podcast called "Unapologetically Angel," which has already gained lots of traction. She invites guests to talk about their lives, answer interesting questions, and more.

In response to the fan's post, Reese hinted that Carrington will be a future guest on her podcast.

“what if I told you we already have our date locked in 🫢,” she wrote.

Both Reese and Carrington are known for their big personalities on and off the court, and fans will be waiting impatiently for the episode to be released

Reese has yet to give any indication of when the episode will be shared.

Reese’s rookie season was cut short due to a wrist injury but still led the WNBA in rebounding average with 13.1 per game. She also set the single-season record with 446 rebounds, but that record was later passed by A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces after Reese’s injury.

Carrington, now in her fourth season in the league, just won the WNBA’s Most Improved Player award. Her scoring jumped from 8.3 points per game in 2023 to 12.7 this season.
