Kansas City Chiefs fans feared the worst whenever the team announced that starting running back Isiah Pacheco would be out for 6-8 weeks with a fractured fibula. But the team may have made the move to take some of the sting away.

The team announced recently that they signed Kareem Hunt to their 53-man roster, officially bringing him back for the first time since the 2018 season. The veteran running back said in a recent press conference that he is ready to make some noise.

"I'm excited to go help shock the world and show them I've still got it," Hunt said. "I couldn’t be more excited to help these guys defend that title, come back around here, see all these familiar faces and family here."

Hunt will be looking to help the Chiefs become the first team to ever win three straight Super Bowls, and they are off to a great start.

Hunt has not been a consistent starter since he left the Chiefs, but he has been solid with the opportunities he has been given. The team also has Carson Steele, who proved his worth in the team's Week 3 win against the Atlanta Falcons.

If Hunt can contribute to the Chiefs completing the three-peat, that would most definitely count as "shocking the world."
