How Can Jets Keep Positive Momentum Going?

The New York Jets have officially steadied the ship. After a brutal Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, the Jets have rattled off back-to-back wins to get their 2024 season off and running.

But how does the team continue to build on this good early-season momentum?

Luckily for New York, it has a veteran, future Hall of Fame quarterback like Aaron Rodgers to help push the team along.

“It is being able to recall things that happened,” Rodgers said on how to keep things moving in a positive direction. “We're in a meeting and I tested them, something we talked about in Week One that's going to show up in Week Four. Can we remember coaching points, signals, different things that we've talked about in Week One, in training camp because it all shows up. So, just the mental part of it.

The Jets are coming off perhaps their best performance of the season, a 24-3 win over the New England Patriots, and now face a Denver Broncos team in Week 4 that curb-stomped the previously unbeaten Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With the Jets playing their first three games in the span of just 10 days, Rodgers knows the benefit of now being able to practice to help get keyed in on the details before Sunday.

"We haven't really practiced in a couple weeks," Rodgers added. "We had two walkthroughs for the Thursday night game, nice long break so we got to remember how to practice and have good tempo and get accomplished what we needed to accomplish before Sunday.”

There is a different vibe about the Jets right now, and with another win that would extend the streak to three, the good vibes will continue to flow.

The Jets need to grab ahold of this early-season momentum and ride it for as long as possible because we know how fickle the NFL can be.

When things are going your way, you have to make the most of it, and the Jets will aim to do that against the Broncos.
