From 2011 to 2017, few teams were more entertaining than the Lob City Los Angeles Clippers.

Led by ruthless court general Chris Paul, alongside flashy guard Jamal Crawford and high-flying big men Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, the Clippers were a highlight reel waiting to happen every night.

In an interview on the Run Your Race podcast, Crawford reflected on his time with the Clippers and how special that team could have been if they had gotten their act together.

    A must-see show

According to the three-time Sixth Man of the Year award winner, the Clippers' squad was so captivating that even superstars from other squads tuned in to watch them play.

With CP3 running the point, Crawford thriving in isolation situations, and BG throwing down thunderous dunks on every defender in his path, the Clippers were must-see TV, per Crawford.

"Our team was so special. It was one of the shows of the league. I remember times LeBron was tweeting about it to D-Wade, like, 'Oh, we gotta do that lob,'" Crawford said on a Run Your Race episode . "Because the way I saw it was—you had Blake and DJ in the air putting on a show, and you had Chris and myself on the ground putting on a show."

Jamal also let everyone in on a secret he had with Chris. Both were incredible ballhandlers with flairs for the dramatic when it came to making moves on the court.

They often tried to outdo each other with their dribbling skills, leading to jaw-dropping moments.

"I could just tell because we're both competitors. It was almost like being on a song. He'd do a dope verse, and I'm like, 'Oh, my verse has got to be better.' And then I'd do my verse, and he's like, 'Oh, he got me. I'm coming to get him on this song,'" Crawford said.

The 6-foot-5 guard said it was healthy competition between him and CP3, ultimately making them better players.

"It kept us sharp," Crawford added. "It kept it dope. It was entertainment because we're fans of the game, too."
