ESPN's Dan Orlovsky Warns of Impending Doom For Dallas Cowboys

ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky appeared on " First Take " on Thursday morning, discussing the crucial need for the Dallas Cowboys to secure a win against the New York Giants after suffering disappointing losses in their last two games.

Orlovsky warned that failing to emerge victorious from MetLife Stadium could spell impending doom for the Cowboys on "Thursday Night Football."

"If they lose, their season is over. ... There's only two things that can happen that matter [if they lose] ... it's either, yes, a new head coach, or they trade Micah Parsons."

Trading Micah Parsons, one of the game's top defensive players, seems like a wild idea, yet it’s a possibility that’s been floated. Parsons is under the contract through the 2025 season, but will demand a lot of money as one of the game's premier pass rushers.

More realistically, firing Mike McCarthy might be on the table, but doing so just four games into the season would certainly raise eyebrows—especially since owner Jerry Jones has publicly stated he’s not concerned about the Cowboys' recent performance.

Dallas is flooded with talent, yet the team sits at 1-2 after back-to-back lackluster performances. If they can’t secure a victory against a Giants team perceived as a non-threat this season, it would raise serious alarms in Dallas. Orlovsky emphasized this concern, highlighting the urgency for the Cowboys to turn things around.
