The Georgia Bulldogs have dominated college football since the beginning of the 2020s. However, they have struggled against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Despite winning national championships in 2021 and 2022, the Bulldogs have only managed to beat the Crimson Tide once since 2008. This win came in the 2022 national championship game after losing to Alabama in the SEC championship a month earlier. Alabama also ended Georgia's bid for a three-peat by defeating them, 27-24, in the SEC championship game last season.

The two teams are set to face off in the regular-season for the first time since 2020. On the "Paul Finebaum Show" the SEC analyst predicted the Crimson Tide will again come out on top against the Bulldogs.

"I'm definitely leaning toward Alabama," Finebaum said. "I'm not running away from that. Probably won't change. I can't imagine why it would."

The one thing going for the Bulldogs is legendary coach Nick Saban is no longer roaming the sidelines for Alabama. This will now be Kalen DeBoer's first test at playing the Crimson Tide.

Both teams have experienced their highs and lows this season. Georgia appeared dominant with a big win over Clemson to start the season but then had a close win against Kentucky. Alabama looked dominant against Wisconsin but also struggled for three and a half quarters against South Florida.

Both teams are in the top 15 in total defense, but Alabama has the advantage on offense. The Crimson Tide ranks No. 24 in the country in total offense, while the Bulldogs rank No. 65.

The Bulldogs will face the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa on ABC at 7:30 p.m. ET.
