Cleveland Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett did not participate in practice on Wednesday after he was listed on the injury report with Achilles, thigh and ankle issues.

That being said, Garrett still plans to take the field for Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

During his media availability on Thursday, the five-time Pro Bowler delivered a blunt warning to his NFL competition.

“I try to spend every moment preparing my body for the rigors of the season,” Garrett said. “Sometimes, [I have] some bumps and bruises like I have right now. So, an injured animal is the fiercest, so I’m going to be at my best.”

Garrett admitted he wasn't 100% in the Browns' Week 3 loss to the New York Giants, but he isn't making any excuses for himself.

“But, again, I don’t make any excuses for it. That’s just what it is right now,” Garrett added. “Everyone’s dealing with their own issues — physically or mentally. Mine happen to be very apparent. So, we’re going to get them as right as they can and I’ll be out there playing the best that I can.”

Garrett said he hopes to make it to the Browns' Week 10 bye without missing a game.

“Maybe, but that’s what we have a bye week for,” Garrett said when asked if a week off would help him recover. “Until then, you’re not going to get enough of 95.”

The Browns will kickoff against the Raiders at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.
