Cowboys 'Season Over!' Trade Micah! Fire Coach! 7-Game Losing Streak! ESPN Losing Its Mind

ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky is losing his mind. Or, at the very least, is losing his credibility.

As we have flatteringly noted previously in this space, when ESPN's Orlovsky plays the role of "serious football analyst''? He's got the gift. Looks good, sounds good, played the game, translates it well.

Ah, but (we assume) when he allows the "Stephen A. Skip'' potential dollars to dance in his head? His work becomes as ridiculous and shameful as the labors of the Dallas Cowboys team he "shock-jockingly'' attempts to analyze.

What does Orlovsky think might be the result of a Dallas loss on Thursday at the New York Giants? He called it a "must-win for Dallas tonight," and he's not alone there. But Orlovsky - sadly willing to play the clown - added three Armageddon-level repercussions.

One, he told the ESPN audience, "you're realistically looking at a (seven-game) losing streak.''

Two, he stated that an in-season firing coach Mike McCarthy is a potential scenario.

And three, he suggested that one of the "things that could happen that matter, that are impactful ... they trade Micah Parsons.''

Weirdly, he later added, "I don't think they would even entertain trading Micah Parsons'' and noted, "I don't think they would fire Mike McCarthy. I really don't believe it."

Right. So, Dan Orlovsky, if you know it's not "believable'' ... that it's not credible .. what the hell are you doing "reporting'' that it is?
