Oregon Drops Surprise Uniform Combination for Week Five

Oregon football unveiled its uniform combination for this weekend’s matchup against UCLA on Wednesday, and the Ducks made a surprise choice.

After it was reported by Zachary Neel of USA Today that the Ducks were wearing black practice helmets throughout this week, many fans believed a uniform involving black would be deployed this weekend.

Instead, the Ducks announced they’ll be going with one of their old-school looks on Saturday, rocking yellow helmets, white jerseys with green trim, and yellow pants.

It will be the second time Oregon has worn its white jerseys this season, and the first time it has broken out the yellow helmets.

As the Ducks travel to UCLA for their second road game in three weeks, they are listed as 25.5-point favorites according to ESPNBet.

They’ll face off against the Bruins on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. PST.
