WNBA Legend Sheryl Swoopes Reacts to Angel Reese's Exciting Reveal

Earlier this month, WNBA star Angel Reese released her podcast "Unapologetically Angel." The Chicago Sky forward has since posted a few clips from interviews with music artists Latto and Polo G.

In Reese's latest reveal, she posted a video of WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes on the set of "Unapologetically Angel." While she didn't confirm that Swoopes will be joining her on the podcast, given the video and photos released , it seems the two have potentially recorded an episode.

The official social media account of "Unapologetically Angel" was first to reveal the news. A short video was posted with Reese and Swoopes, with the caption "ICONIC."

Swoopes then responded to that post, giving her fans a look at the collaboration.

"I know that's right," Swoopes posted with a meme and two eye emojis.

Swoopes has been vocal about her admiration for Reese all season. She previously spoke on Reese's rookie season, sharing high praise for the Sky forward.

The league legend called Reese a "dog," mentioning that she loves the way Reese plays.

"I’m gonna use her word," Swoopes said. "I want to continue to be a dog, because she is a dog. I love the fact that she’s just her… She plays hard, both ends of the floor. Doesn’t matter what the score is… I just love how she’s coming into this league, she’s embraced the bumps, the bruises, she’s embraced the good with the bad. I just love watching her play because she plays hard the entire game.”

Before Reese's rookie season was cut short, due to a wrist injury, she was wreaking havoc with Chicago.

The first-year star was averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. She led the WNBA in average rebounds when she was active and was also the only rookie to finish the regular season averaging a double-double.
