NFL Legend JJ Watt In Disbelief Over CeeDee Lamb Call

The taunting penalty might be the most controversial penalty in the NFL. While it's rarely called today, the few times that it's called, fans are typically not pleased. So when Dallas Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb was called for taunting, many were not happy.

After Lamb scored on a 55-yard touchdown, the Cowboys star tossed the ball in the direction of a New York Giants defender. Lamb then proceeded to pose and celebrate with his back turned to the defender.

The officials called a taunting penalty on Lamb, with the penalty enforced on kicker Brandon Aubrey's 1-point try. Immediately, fans were not happy with the call. That includes NFL legend JJ Watt, who had this to say about the penalty.

Taunting has always been quite controversial among fans for many reasons. Many believe that players should be allowed to express a little emotion and talk trash against their opponents. The rule is there to prevent players from instigating brawls, but some argue it has curbed the players' ability to be themselves.

Lamb, who signed a brand-new contract with the Cowboys this offseason, is having a solid performance for the Cowboys in Week 4. In the first half alone, Lamb has six catches for 94 yards and a receiving touchdown.

The Cowboys currently sit at 1-2 in the season following a loss to the Baltimore Ravens last week. Dallas, as always, is looking to make it all the way to the Super Bowl.
