All eyes will be on a prime time matchup in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in Week 5. The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs will be on the road to face the No. 4 Crimson Tide.

Prior to the matchup, ESPN college football analyst Rece Davis hosted the "College GameDay Podcast" where he shared his prediction between Georgia and Alabama.

Davis discussed the potential for Alabama to upset Georgia, but ultimately decided to pick the Bulldogs to defeat the Crimson Tide.

He believes Georgia has the "stronger team" top to bottom and questioned if Alabama will be able to defeat the Bulldogs after transitioning into new schemes under first-year head coach Kalen DeBoer.

"I'm picking Georgia, but I think Alabama fans will be heartened by the guys that they have assuming command after the reign of Nick Saban," Davis said.

Davis mentioned that DeBoer has coached in difficult games, having defeated Bo Nix and the Oregon Ducks twice last season and falling to the Michigan Wolverines in the national championship, while he headed the Washington Huskies.

DeBoer certainly has the experience, but Davis believes Georgia is a different animal. He think Georgia's depth and SEC experience behind head coach Kirby Smart and quarterback Carson Beck will put them over the edge against the Crimson Tide.

Beck came into the season as a Heisman contender and he's proven to be one the best players in college football, having produced seven touchdowns and 680 passing yards with a 68.3 completion percentage.

The Bulldogs are also playing with a chip on their shoulder, having lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC championship last season.

Despite Alabama having home field advantage, Davis believes the Bulldogs have prepared themselves to secure this victory and jump the Texas Longhorns to become the No. 1 team in the nation on Monday.
