The Auburn Tigers had a perfect schedule set up for them. They played their first five games at home and were favored in four of them.

Unfortunately, things haven't gone as they had hoped. The Tigers have a 2-2 record this season, and their fifth game will be this weekend against the No. 21 Oklahoma Sooners. Turnovers have been a major issue, with Auburn leading the nation in turnovers lost with 14, eight of which were interceptions thrown by its quarterbacks.

Oklahoma, on the other hand, is coming off its first loss of the season to the Tennessee Volunteers. Early-season struggles for both teams are why ESPN's Paul Finebaum revealed on his show, the "Paul Finebaum Show," that this weekend's game is one of the most intriguing games of the week. Finebaum said that Oklahoma could save its season with a victory, but things could "go off the rails" with a loss for Auburn.

"It's one of the most intriguing games of the week," Finebaum said. "Oklahoma could really salvage its season with a win, and Auburn's season could really go off the rails with a loss."

After playing Oklahoma, the Tigers face a tough schedule. They have four games against currently ranked teams, including a match against the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs next week. If Auburn loses its third game of the season on Saturday, the team would need to win at least one of those ranked games and all of its other games to qualify for a bowl game.

The Tigers and Sooners are scheduled to play on ABC on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
