Bucs vs. Eagles: How To Watch, Betting Odds

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Philadelphia Eagles at Ramond Jaymes Stadium on Sunday.

The Bucs are coming off of a devastating loss at the hands of the previously winless Denver Broncos. Quarterback Bo Nix had his best day as a pro, but it was the defense and their relentless attack on Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield that put the game away.

Mayfield took seven sacks in the loss and admitted to being a bit antsy out there and taking off and running before he had to. The Eagles' pass rush and the emerging Jalen Carter will certainly try to be in the Bucs' backfield as much as possible.

The Bucs will need to establish the run with rookie back Bucky Irving and get quick passes to guys like Mike Evans and Chris Godwin so they can make plays with their legs.

The Tampa Bay defense is struggling due to missing two major contributors including defensive tackle Vita Vea and safety Antoine Winfield Jr. Without them, everyone else needs to step up and stop the Philly offense.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts is looking for some payback on a Bucs team that spectacularly eliminated the Eagles last year 32-9. Running back Saquon Barkley, in his first year with the Eagles, currently leads the league in rushing. Inside runs where Vea should be will help to open up the rest of the field.

Tight end Dallas Goedert stepped up last week and hopes to continue that production again this week.
