Steelers vs. Colts Week 4 Preview: Can Pittsburgh's Defense Continue Domination?

The Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0) look to remain undefeated as they take on the Indianapolis Colts (1-2) at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday.

The Steelers have stunned the NFL starting the season off 3-0 with Justin Fields at quarterback. The former No. 11 overall pick is starting to settle into a groove under center and looks to take another step forward this week against the Colts.

Looking at the tape of the Colts loss to the Green Bay Packers, Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith just might call a few RPOs for Fields. Packers’ backup quarterback Malik Willis ran six times for 41 yards on the day.

As a matter of fact, Smith just might be content on pounding the rock with running back Najee Harris. The Colts defense gave up over 200 yards on the ground in both of their losses this year. If the ground game can get going, they can keep Anthony Richardson off the field and put points on the board.

The Steelers defense has been dominant in all three wins, two of them on the road. They are only allowing 8.5 points per game and haven’t allow any of their three opponents to have a 100-yard rushing day.

The Colts will look to lean on running back Jonathan Taylor, but running into the teeth of the Steelers defense may prove futile.

Quarterback Anthony Richards will need to find some sort of rhythm and keep away from Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt. His speed around the corner could prove difficult to manage for the Colts offense.

The game will kick off on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis at 1 p.m. ET.
