Aidan Hutchinson is coming off of his first Pro Bowl season in 2023 and has upped the ante in 2024 with a historically great start, notching more sacks in his first two weeks than more than half of all NFL teams.

Hutchinson followed his first two games up with five tackles and a sack in the Lions' road win over the Cardinals last weekend, adding to anticipation for another big performance this coming Monday evening against the Seattle Seahawks.

On Thursday, Hutchinson gave a heartfelt shout-out to the man who he says made playing football fun again for him: Seahawks Coach Mike Macdonald.

"Bringing that Ravens defense in when I was a senior, it felt like I was having fun again in football," Hutchinson said about Macdonald, who served as defensive coordinator at his alma mater Michigan during his playing days.

    "I'm very thankful for him."

Macdonald's Seahawks rank 4th in scoring defense so far this season while Lions Coach Dan Campbell and Defensive Coordinator Aaron Glenn's team ranks 9th in the same category.

Monday night's game is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET in Detroit.
