Erin Andrews Details Interaction With Dallas Cowboys Coach During Loss to Ravens

Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews will never forget her interaction with Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy during their Week 3 clash against the Baltimore Ravens .

In a recent episode of her "Calm Down" podcast with Charissa Thompson, Andrews opened up about the exchange she had with the Cowboys coach when she needed to ask about their game against the Ravens at halftime.

The Ravens dominated the opening half and took a 21-6 lead.

According to Andrews, she waited for McCarthy in the hallway while he was talking to the team at halftime. When the coach stepped out of the locker room, she quickly looked at him and apologized first, acknowledging that it could be an unpleasant moment for him amid the blowout.

McCarthy's response, however, was nothing but class. Sure enough, Andrews appreciated that.

"Standing in the hallway waiting for Mike McCarthy to come out after he had addressed his team and trying to stop the bleeding on both sides of the ball in that Ravens-Cowboys game," Andrews said. "I looked at him as he walked out and I said, 'Coach, I am so sorry.'

"And he goes, 'Why are you sorry? This is your job.' I love him so much for that. He's just so lovely and sweet."

The Cowboys had a better second half and mounted a comeback. However, they lost 28-25.

Despite the defeat, McCarthy certainly made quite the mark on Andrews. It will be interesting to watch the next time Andrews interviews him during a game.
